SYMBYAX shows clinically significant improvement of bipolar depression symptoms
Improvement in MADRS Total Score for the SYMBYAX group was statistically greater than placebo at week 8.¹
Statistical analysis is based on pooled data from two independent studies. SYMBYAX was superior to both placebo and olanzapine monotherapy in both studies at 8-week endpoint. MADRS is Montgomery-Asberg Depression Rating Scale, consisting of 10 items. Olanzapine monotherapy did not separate from placebo in both studies
Olanzapine is not approved for the treatment of bipolar depression.

SYMBYAX offers clinically significant remission rates in bipolar depression.
SYMBYAX showed remission rates as high as 69% in pooled studies.¹
Clinically, response is defined as an improvement of symptoms, whereas remission is a return to baseline level of functioning.
In this study, remission is defined as MADRS Total Score <12 at any time over the 8-week study period and completion of at least 4 weeks.
Olanzapine is not approved for the treatment of bipolar depression.
