Medication
Taking medication as directed by the doctor is essential to effective treatment. You can help by making sure your loved one understands what kinds of medications have been prescribed and how to take them correctly. He or she should also understand the reasons for taking medication.
SYMBYAX should not be stopped suddenly. Stopping SYMBYAX suddenly may result in symptoms like dizziness, nausea or headache. Talk with your doctor before stopping SYMBYAX as he or she may wish to decrease the dose slowly to help you avoid these kinds of symptoms.
You can help remind him or her that sticking to the medication routine means fewer symptoms and feeling better
You can also play an important role by watching for side effects or signs of relapse that your loved one may not notice.
