SYMBYAX is available in different dosage options to make it easier for you to take your medication as prescribed by your doctor.
SYMBYAX Capsules
SYMBYAX is available as capsules that can be taken once a day in the evening. SYMBYAX comes in five convenient dosage options, including
3 mg/25 mg, 6 mg/25 mg, 6 mg/50 mg, 12 mg/25 mg, and 12 mg/50 mg
(olanzapine/fluoxetine HCl capsules).
SYMBYAX can be taken with or without food and is tolerated easily by most people.
Because of the cyclical nature of bipolar disorder, patients should be monitored closely for the development of symptoms of mania/hypomania during treatment with SYMBYAX.
Olanzapine is not approved for the treatment of bipolar depression.
